Behind the scenes from a recent shoot

So many of the jobs I undertake are interesting and creative, but this one really took the cake!

I’m not going to pretend that I understand any of the technical aspects of this shoot, so instead I’ll simply direct you to check out Robotface for yourself.

Here is what they had to say about the project:

Early March @robotface worked with the team at Collider to shoot this series of epic Bird Eye TVCs. An original vision from Dylan Duclos , beautiful images DP’d by Kieran Fowler ACS and ground up art direction by Marni Korn and team. The Bolt camera motion control shots were designed on location and with the help of Dean Garro and amazing team of grips to move the Bolt robot in and out of some very tight locations. Great work everybody

You can watch the ad on youtube here.

Now , watch another youtube video to see the split screen showing how the robot arm choreographed the moves.

Wow!

And from the food department, we got great results using our new airfryer.

If you haven’t tried one, I highly recommend. I bought a rather fancy model from Minimax. It’s the Philips XXL air fryer. I got the largest size available, ‘cos you can never cook too many chips.

And here’s a free plug for the product. Frozen fish has certainly come a long way. For me, it’s a toss-up between the South Atlantic flathead and New Zealand whiting in crisp light batter. In the airfryer, it doesn't get any better.
