This was a very special project for me, as my first book, Saha, was for Greg and Lucy. I subsequently shot Arabesque and Turquoise, too. The creative brief from Hardie Grant and Daniel New allowed me to source ceramics from the UK and use some of my other special pieces.

Alan Benson was so lovely to work with. He has an exceptional eye for finding the beauty in a dish.

The book won a James Beard Award in the Baking and Desserts category.
